WE'RE HIRING: Digital Content Creator

Hourly Rate: $27-30/hour

Hours per Week: 10-20 Hours per week 

About CanGOLF:

CanGOLF is seeking a Digital Content Creator contractor to join our team for the summer. We are committed to creating engaging promotional materials that capture the essence of the CanGOLF experience, showcasing fun and lively moments that resonate with our audience.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to produce high-quality photos, videos, and video clips for promotional materials, social media, and other marketing channels.
• Attend and capture key events, high-traffic times, and busy moments at CanGOLF.
• Arrange and conduct simple photo and video shoots as required.
• Capture b-roll, food, and brand footage and imagery during downtime to build a diverse content library.
• Edit photos to ensure they are clean and in the proper format; trim and organize video footage as needed. Only light edits are mandatory. 
• Work with the team to identify weekly and monthly content checklists, and contribute additional creative content ideas.
• Create versatile content that can be repurposed for future marketing efforts, including seasonal and evergreen materials.
• Track hours and invoice monthly. 

Qualifications:

• Experience with content creation for social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Reels, and TikTok.
• A good eye for capturing fun, lively, and engaging moments.
• Familiarity with social media guidelines and trends.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate key events and high-traffic times at CanGOLF.
• Creative mindset with a passion for bringing new ideas and angles to content creation.
• Under 30 years old, Canadian, and located in Canmore, Alberta (note: A grant funds this position, and the age requirement is a criterion for fulfilling the grant requirements).
• Ability to be present at CanGOLF at least twice a week, sometimes more.
• Access to a smartphone with a high-quality camera and a professional camera. 

Ownership and Usage Rights:

• All content produced will be owned by CanGOLF, with full rights granted to CanGOLF without credit to the content creator. 
• Content creators may use the content for their portfolio upon approval from CanGOLF.

Additional Information:

This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone new to the industry who is eager to break into the content creation space. The main objective is to generate a significant backlog of high-quality content to be used for several months following the contract period. Some content will be seasonal, while others will be evergreen and suitable for use throughout the year.
