Youth Academy at CanGOLF

Unlock the potential of young golfers with Youth Academy at CanGOLF! This exciting program is designed to nurture the next generation of golfers in the Bow Valley, providing a space where they can practice, play, and immerse themselves in the game year-round—all while having fun at one of Canmore’s top entertainment venues.

• Age Range: The Youth Academy is for players aged 10-17 with prior golf experience.
• Application Process: The Academy is application-based, and participants may require an evaluation. Once approved, drop-in to Youth Academy becomes available.
• Drop-In Sessions: Sunday through Friday, 4 PM to 6 PM, upon availability. Call or email day-of to confirm availability, payment will be made in person.
• Cost: $20 (+GST) per drop-in, covering two hours of simulator use, including range and gameplay.
• Instruction Add-On: Available for $100/hour, pre-booked via phone or email (can be shared between players - divisible by up to 4 players).
• Environment: Not a childcare service; meant for passionate and mature young golfers looking to improve their skills.
  

Our Youth Academy is perfect for dedicated golfers of intermediate to advanced level, aged 10-17, who want to stay sharp during the off-season and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow golf enthusiasts. Once accepted into the program through our application process, members can enjoy drop-in sessions from 4 PM to 6 PM, Sunday through Friday, for just $20 (+GST) per person. These sessions cover two hours of simulator use, which includes a mix of range and gameplay opportunities, creating a supportive and enjoyable environment to practice and play alongside other young golfers. There will be up to four Youth Academy members in a simulation at a time. Please note that Academy Hours are subject to availability, please call or email ahead to confirm.

While a golf pro may occasionally be on hand, regular instruction is not included. However, we do offer a special instruction add-on for those seeking personalized guidance. For just $110/hour (which can be shared among up to four players), you can book  time with a pro, giving young golfers the chance to refine their techniques.



Please note that this program is not designed as a childcare service. Instead, it’s aimed at passionate and mature young golfers who are committed to enhancing their skills in a welcoming and lively atmosphere. CanGOLF is proud to be the Bow Valley’s go-to hangout for golf lovers of all ages, and we’re thrilled to extend this opportunity to our local youth.

The registration process begins with your application. Once we review your application, we’ll either send you an approval for you to officially join the program, be in touch to schedule a preliminary assessment if needed, or let you know if it’s not the right fit at this time. Our goal is to create a positive, engaging environment for all young golfers, and your answers will help us tailor their experience. If approved, you can begin dropping-in during Academy Hours.

Please note: If your child is outside of the 10-17 age range but is an exceptional golfer and mature for their age, please feel free to submit an application for our review, case by case.
